Descriptionof Responsibilities
A Patient Care Coordinator is under the general supervision of the Clinical Director to provide respiratory therapy care pertaining to CPAP, Bi-Level and Oxygen supports to patients with sleep disorder breathing and other respiratory conditions, by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities of the Patient Care Coordinator include the following:
* Read prescription, reviews patient information for treatment such as type of duration of therapy.
* Sets up and operate devices such as CPAP, Bi-Level, Auto CPAP and Oxygen.
* Instruct patient on how to use equipment
*Size patient for mask
* Demonstrate the ability to analyze complex situations and apply policy.
* Comply with the company and professional association's Standards of Conduct.
* Inspects and tests PAP equipment to ensure efficacy
* Must enjoy working alone in an office environment
* Ensure ongoing company compliance with all laws and regulations; ensure that the company meets or exceeds accreditation standards; and implement ‘’best practices’’ in all departmental activities.
* Pursue continuing education programs appropriate to job responsibilities.
* Maintain inventory and make sure office is not out of stock.
* Clean, vacuum, and Lysol office on weekly basis
* Take out all trash and cardboard on weekly basis
*Must live within 30 minute commute to office location
* Must be able to lift 25-30 LBS
Minimum Qualifications
1. High School Diploma is MANDATORY
2. Ability to organize and plan the activities of subordinates, and to delegate appropriately.
3. Computer skills that include word processing, and efficient use of the internet and e-mail.
4. Demonstrate effective written and spoken communication skills.
5. Demonstrate appropriate social skills.

2. The employee is required to use hands to operate equipment.
3. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.

5. Take out cardboard and trash as needed
